The new UP CSWCD Alumni Association Board, after electing its officers last March 9, 2011 has revived the committees to plan for the activities where the Alumni can participate and have a chance to give back to the College. Initially, the Membership committee is finding more ways to track our graduates such as setting up an email address where the Alumni can send their profile through a newly formatted membership form. The Plans and Programs Committee also has laid down the initial steps in inviting CSWCD graduates to write their stories and to have them published in this blog. Part of this invitation is to be part of the book project that was initiated by the former Board. This time, the stories will cover Alumni from different sectors and fields of practice, to share their experiences and that these experiences be able to enhance materials used in the classroom and also to attract more prospects to the various course offerings of the College. The subgroup in charge of the Book Project includes Pinky Cupino, Carol Peteros and our Dean, Dr. Inday Ofreneo. (Please see the invitation box below.)
The induction of the new CSWCDAA Board will be held on April 17, 2011, the day of the UP Commencement Exercises.
